Dr. Harriet Standeven is a London-based paintings conservator. She has experience working with a wide range of traditional and modern paintings, but specialises in the care of modern and contemporary art. She has worked as a freelance conservator since 2000, and offers museum-quality conservation to a range of clients. From 2004 until 2009 she worked as a tutor for RCA/V&A Conservation, a wholly postgraduate conservation programme run jointly by the Royal College of Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Her research interests include artists' use of non-traditional paints, and she has published widely in this field.
