HARRIET A. L. STANDEVEN (PhD)

Harriet Standeven is a Hampshire-based conservator who offers museum-quality conservation to galleries and private clients in Hampshire, London and surrounding areas.  She has experience treating a wide range of artworks, but specialises in the care of modern and contemporary art.  She has also conducted a considerable amount of research into artists' use of commercial materials, in particular house paints, and has published widely in this field. She has a purpose-built, fully equipped and secure studio at her home in the heart of the New Forest National Park, where she lives with her family.
